CHRISTmas in Utah

We left California at 2:30 in the morning.
We got to see the world wake up in Arizona.
Just beautiful.

Then continue to rise in Nevada.

The sun up and shining over the snow covered state of Utah.

Family took us all over to experience Utah at its best!

We visited Soldier's Hollow for a little tubing!

Weeee!

Spent our first CHRISTmas away from California.
Santa brought Belle a leapster!

Aimee got One Tree Hill season 5.

Becca got her own ice skates.

Michael Jr got Lazer Tag that he and his cousins broke in rather well.
So I guess Santa does hit everywhere on CHRISTmas eve!

Munchkins loved playing in the snow all day long!!

Can you believe they get deer in their back yards?
I get tree rats and they get pretty deer families.

The amazing Salt Lake Temple.

We saw so much!

I don't know if you can read the car temperature gauge but it was 12 degrees.
I am freezing at 68 degrees. So this was really cold to me.
But here we are in the SUV checking out the light show at Thanksgiving Point.

We went and checked out a bit of after CHRISTmas shopping.
They had reindeer to pet.

Auntie Tammi was trying to get the little reindeer to come over where Belle could pet her.
The reindeer was not having it though.
Maybe Belle was small enough to scare her?

This was a beautiful atrium inside a really cute little antique shop.

Michael Jr found some trees for sale after CHRISTmas.
They were $78!!

This is how gorgeous it was before we left.

There was just a slight bit of snow as we left the beauty of Utah.

Las Vegas was way to packed.
So we took the kiddos to Stateline to experience what the whole fascination with Vegas is all about. Took them to the arcade section of Buffalo Bills.
Michael and Michael Jr tried a few things like this virtual ride.
Man, it closes up around them then they flip all over. I thought for sure they would throw up in there.

Nope they were laughing the whole time.
All in all the kiddos thought the place stank, literally!
They are so smart! They didn't understand why people where throwing their money away in the machines either.

Here we are saying goodbye to Stateline and heading back home to California.
It was a great vacation.
