Georgia Report!!

Whoo hoo!!

We have been starting our state reports.

Michael Jr picked Georgia.

He asked if he could make a cake of the state as a project once he was done with the paper part.

I had to say yes, he wanted to do it all by himself. I think he did an amazing job!

It tasted delicious!!!

We have learned so much about this amazing state this month.

It is not just where Paula Dean lives.

We learned about the war of 1812 and the Creek War of 1813 that took place in Georgia.

Georgia has a state fish. The largemouth bass.

Georgia has the second oldest city in America...St. Mary's.

The worlds largest infantry training center is located in Georgia, at Fort Benning.

Coca-cola world is there!!

They have seasons. We live in California. We have no seasons so this was cool.

Jimmy Carter our 39th president lives there in Plains.

The first university supported by the state was there in Athens.

Of coarse they are known for their peaches too!

Neat huh?

My son would really love to go there now.

He even started looking at the real estate available there...

Yes, I think he really enjoyed that assignment!
