Aimee who hates bugs found this baby praying mantis in our back yard.
Michael Jr of coarse picked it up no problem.
We had to get out the magnifying glass to take a half way decent picture of the little guy.
So tiny!
The munchkins thought he was pretty cool though and wanted to keep him as a pet.
Not gonna happen though.
That poor thing would have been dead by the next day.
Not that I am looking forward to him eating my plants either but maybe the kids will get to see him bigger that way.
We will see.
