The patio deck is coming along pretty well.
My husband got the wood all framed up and blocked.
This is a shot of what the wood looks like.
We took the wood back off after this shot. Then we painted this sealant that is supposed to keep termites away. We will see about that. Then put the wood back on and spaced it just right only to find that you could see the light color of the blocking wood through the gaps.
So off came the deck again.
We painted a really pretty brown paint called Bear Rug on all the block wood then put the composite decking on for the third time. It seems to be true that the third time is the charm because that bad boy is nailed in now!! Yay!!
Our rails are on order and a few pieces we need to complete the steps.
