I thought this would be a good idea

I took the kids to the zoo.

Belle still does not enjoy travel in the van so that made it a very loud beginning.
After she settled down and the drizzle slowed it was not that bad of an experience.
Michael Jr actually took the picture of the majestic lion there.

We all loved the big cats!
All of them!
There was a gentleman there sketching their beauty too.
He was really interesting to speak with.

Kiddos enjoyed the nursery area part the best.
We got to the petting area to late to go in
but my munchkins found a way to pet them anyway!
Hee Hee!

This little cutie was their favorite.
We all wanted to just take her home.

Then we had to endure a long traffic filled trip back home with a tired cranky almost 2 year old who did not fall asleep until we were 5 miles from home.
Oh well.
It was an experience for the summer that they wont soon forget!
