RIP Navy Seals 8-6-2011

The good Husbandman may pluck His roses and gather His lilies at midsummer, and, for ought I dare say, in the beginning of the first summer month; and he may transplant young trees out of the lower ground to the higher, where they may have more of the sun and a more free air, at any season of the year. The goods are His own. The Creator of time and winds did a merciful injury to nature in landing the passenger so early. Letters of Samuel Rutherford (1600-1661)

Thank you for serving our country and keeping my family safe and free.

Thanks ... from a Military Mama.

2nd son is currently at Officer Candidacy School with the Navy. Next month he will head to FL for flight school.

Which means, he may be flying one of those helicopters in the not very far future.

Things like this hit close to home. My eldest son served 2 1/2 years in Iraq, and has seen a lot of loss, up close and personal.
