there she goes!

The summer breeze has picked up this evening. Thank goodness. The air is still hot and sticky but it is much more manageable with the air moving to cool us down. My littlest munchkin has been uncomfortable with the weather and teething. Her little tongue keeps going to the spot that plagues her with pain. To try and distract her we took her outside, this is her favorite place to be. Ever since birth the outdoors has given her comfort. Maybe she feels closer to God outside?
Her little legs itch to walk everywhere now. She has covered our entire house with tiny footprints just exploring her own surroundings. Today we will explore a field. How does that sound my little ray of sunshine?

Her sweet smile is lighting up the world. How happy she is to be alive. What a blessing.

We have sat her down in the middle of the grassy field. The munchkin was just smiling and breathing in the warm air. Then she carefully lifts herself up on her two wobbly feet, all by herself and goes.

Little determined steps, one at a time.

Slow and cautious at first while she is feeling her way.

Now bound and determined to go forward all by herself.

What a statement of life.

She is off. There she goes!

Don't go to far to fast munchkin!

Good idea. Enjoy where you are at for the moment sunshine. Take a minute and look around. Notice the butterflies and the birds. Be sure you see the little things before you take on the big ones. The world will still be waiting for you to come and conquer it!
