I harp on this with my children all the time just how important Daddies and their boring jobs are and they deserve our thanks. Our Daddy gets up early, 4 am early, just for his family. There are quite a few days that he would rather sleep in or call in sick, but he gets up, showers, gets ready and fights traffic just to support his children. He works so that they can have a roof over their heads, walls to keep out the critters and the wind, electricity so that they can have TV, a/c, game cube, lights, etc. He works so that they can have hot water for a shower, water to drink, a yard to play in, and clothes to cover their God given bodies playing in that yard. He goes to work to make sure that we can buy them food that they are ALWAYS wanting more of and for the occasional restaurant visit. He goes to work and tries his hardest so that his munchkins can go to soccer practice, be Girl Scout Brownies, and be in Choir. He does a job that sometimes aggravates him so that we can go to better schools that are out of the way, visit with friends on our cell phones that we don't have to pay the bill on, play on the computer, basically be treated like little prince and princesses while he slaves away just because he loves us. THEN, he comes home and starts working on things that need to be fixed around here.He takes you to practice then fixes the light cord that broke in your room and cleans the pipes in the bathroom . He finishes digging holes for our addition. He weeds. He plants. He is non stop because he loves his family and wants the best for them. Father's Day is just once a year, but our Daddy deserves more than a day for all he does for us.
All the good Daddies out there, you know who you are, you work just as hard for your children. You deserve to be recognized to. Father's are just as important but get less recognition. Without you where would our lives be? Thank you Dad's for supporting your families.
